Guest Bedroom Featuring Sherwin Williams Rhinestone

Thankfully there was no rain in Ottawa this weekend which made it extra fantastic! While I was outdoors a lot I needed to work on our guest bedroom. Having a guest bedroom is important for us. I thought about making the room a flex room but decided on having it solely for guests.
Having long term guests and having a room just for them is nice. It is an easy solution. We have in the past blown up air mattresses for kids, but for long term guests that does not work that well.
We also have aging parents that need a comfortable bed to sleep on when they stay.
This is going to be an easy bedroom makeover. The walls have been painted Rhinestone by Sherwin Williams. I LOVE this colour. It is such a beautiful soothing colour. Looks like an airy blue with a touch of grey. Other times it looks more white with a blue undertone depending on the light. It is a perfect airy paint colour that will work well for a serene guest bedroom.

Hello, I’m painting my basement and I’m looking for a light gray color that’s not too dark or light. I was considering Rhinestone after seeing that It. French Gray was too dark. Do you think Rhinestone is a good choice to consider? I still want it to look gray not white. Thanks.

Rhinestone is a beautiful colour but it does have blue undertones. I would recommend buying a small sample and applying it to the wall! I hope this helps…
Thanks for responding. I picked up a sample today so I will see how it looks. I have recessed lighting so hopefully the blue undertone won’t be overpowering. I’m about out of light gray colors to choose from that doesn’t have an undertone.
How does it look with the rhinestone? I used a sample and thought it was too blue in certain lighting. May go back and order it 50%

Yes, Rhinestone has blue/grey undertones. You can really see the blue undertones with a lot of light. It is definitely a cooler white.
What color baseboard and trim did you use?
